Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We can only imagine how difficult a decision this must be for you. We want you to feel confident that your child will grow up in a stable, nurturing home environment, surrounded by a supportive and loving family. We look forward to giving love and fortune to your beautiful baby.

Our names are Amanda and Trey, and our children are- Maia (10) and Chet (15) who are living at home, and Ava (18) who is away at college. We were lucky to come together as a blended family nine years ago. We’ve tried for many years to have a child together and endured multiple miscarriages. We could not be more excited to adopt and raise a baby together, and our kids cannot wait for their baby brother or sister to come home. In our family, we each have a different story, and we celebrate our diversity and our love for each other. We will all give the baby heaps of love and attention!

We may look like a modern family, but in many ways we are old fashioned. We sit down to dinner together every night and share what is going on in each of our lives and in the world. We go a little crazy for every holiday, and ours is the house that turns haunted on Halloween and hosts the annual Easter egg hunt. We live in a rambling five-bedroom farm house on a dead end street with a bus stop and lots of kids. We chose our town in Connecticut because it has some of the best schools in the state.

Our family traditions have helped to create a bond that is absolutely 100% unbreakable. This bond will naturally extend to our newest member! In our house, family comes first. Our number one priority is to be supportive of our kids and each other. We shower our children with love and encourage them to pursue their goals and dreams. Education is very important to us. We help Maia and Chet with homework every night. We expect all of our children will have the option to go to college. As professors, we teach on alternating days so someone is always at home with the kids. Our children also have the option of attending the colleges where we teach tuition-free.

We vow to you to support and love your child throughout their life no matter what. We wish you well and appreciate your consideration of our family.

With love and support,

Amanda and Trey
