To The Beautiful Baby Girl I Placed For Adoption

This guest post is by Andrea, a birthmother.

I love you so very much. Nothing has or will ever change it.

Finding out I was carrying you and making the adoption plan for you was the scariest thing I’ve ever been through.

It has also been the best that’s ever happened to me too.

I made an adoption plan for you because you were and are always my number one priority.

Every decision I made in our adoption plan was for your benefit.

Not being able to be your mom doesn’t mean I don’t love you any less. It’s quite the opposite.

It breaks my heart that I was not ready to be your mom. But I handpicked your parents because I knew they’d be the best.

I’ll always be in your corner, your number one advocate and biggest fan.

I absolutely love watching you grow and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

I know it’s only going to get better.

You are the love of my life and I never want you to forget what a light and joy you are to me.
