About Us
We are best friends in every sense. Melissa is a former professional athlete, and Brittany is a teacher and classroom flipper! We matched on a dating app when Melissa was just returning from playing professionally overseas for 10+ years and Brittany was hosting a classroom makeover in the area. We have developed an inseparable bond filled with love, laughter, and happiness. We love traveling, going on adventures, spending time on the water, and being creative together. Whether we’re visiting new destinations overseas or trying something new in the kitchen, we truly love being in each other’s presence and making memories. Melissa enjoys surfing, training college-bound athletes, and all water sports. Brittany prefers interior design, hiking, and anything that is an artistic outlet. Although we are very different, we are a perfect balance of adventure and creativity and cannot wait to share our passion for life.

Our Home & Community
Our house is so much more than just a place to live. It’s a home that hosts family dinners, exudes comfort, and provides a sense of security for everyone who visits. It’s a place where memories are made and traditions are formed. Our home is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood with parks and walking paths in every direction. It’s the perfect place for a bike ride, walk, or even hiking in the nearby metro parks. In addition to living in a kid-friendly neighborhood, we are just a 20-minute drive to an incredible, diverse city well known for its museums, activities, and charm. Our two cats, Charlie and Monster, are super playful, and everyone loves their sweet personalities!

Our Thoughts about Parenting & Adoption
Since we first started dating, we knew we wanted a family together. Adoption happens to be the perfect path for us and has led us to you. We’ve both worked with several families (as a teacher and a coach) who have been through the adoption process, and we’ve seen how empowering it can be for everyone involved. Adoption gives us hope to start a family and watch it grow with strength, independence, creativity, and love. We are honored to have this opportunity.
