Hi, we are Nick and Diana and we are so excited to become parents. Putting this profile together was not an easy task for us since we generally avoid talking about ourselves, let alone putting our life out there for the world to see. The desire to grow our family is a powerful motivator, though, and we hope this gives a glimpse of who we are and why we will provide a loving and supporting home.Becoming parents has always been important to us, and we will learn and grow as parents as time goes on, always making sure your child feels loved and supported. We fully support open adoption and will make sure that your child understands their culture. We hope that as you read more about us that you will have a better understanding of who we are and why we will be great parents.

We met 8 years ago, actually the last profile we each wrote was a dating profile and it is what brought us both together. Although neither of us are overly talkative our first date was spent talking for hours. We quickly found that we had a great deal in common. Our sense of humor and love for family have always been a strong connection between us.Over the last 8 years we have grown a lot as individuals and as a couple. During this time, we got married and bought a house. Through all of this we’ve learned more about compromising and relying on each other. We both work full time jobs that we enjoy, five days a week, but our favorite time of the day is when we sit down for dinner each night together. This is the time we get to connect and decompress with each other. We enjoy our time at home. But we also love taking trips around the country together. Some of our favorite memories are the times we spent exploring different places like Maine, Hawaii and San Francisco. After struggling with infertility for years, we realized that our ultimate goal is to become parents and grow our family. This brought us to adoption, which will allow us to be a parent to a child. This realization has bought us so much excitement and happiness.
Our Home & Community
We bought our forever home 4 years ago and we have been slowly making it our own over time. One of the first things that drew us to this house was the neighborhood. It is on a quiet street in a great school district. We knew this would be a great place for our future child to grow up. Our home is also surrounded by family. Both our parents are a short drive away and we even have siblings and nieces and nephews who moved to the same town. We always loved the idea of being close to family and being able to share special moments with them.Although house projects can be overwhelming, we have enjoyed taking them on together over the last 4 years. Each project gives us the opportunity to discuss and picture how the improvements will benefit our future family. One of our favorite projects is the backyard. When searching for a house, a big backyard was a must and we found it! It has been fun seeing the transformation of our yard over the last few years with the addition of the patio, pool, and garden. And even with all that, there is still so much room for our dog and nieces and nephews to run around and play.We both grew up in this area of NJ and one of the things that we love about the location is its proximity to major attractions. Fun family trips to the Jersey Shore, New York City, Poconos, etc are all short car trips away.
Our Thoughts about Parenting & Adoption
We know that we are not perfect but being parents is extremely important to us and we promise that everyday we will work our hardest to be the best parents we can possibly be. We will be flexible and adjust as we learn about being a parent. It is important to us that our future child knows that they are our first priority and that they can come to us whenever they need.
- That our future child understands and embraces his/her culture and background
- To teach our future child the importance of communication
- To have family dinners
- To teach importance of kindness/accepting of others
- Instill importance of hardwork and learning from mistakes
- Our future child will live an active life
- Our future child will understand the importance of family and friends
- To keep an open adoption
We want to thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little more about us. We are happy to talk, no matter where you are in the decision making process. Becoming parents is very important to us and we promise that our future child will always have our conditional love and we will do our best to provide them with a full and happy life.
